I am so happy to have this memento, because I drove down Long Road the other day and the barn is now gone. :-( She had a great life for over 100 years... but you hate to see these great structures fading away. Yet she lives on in this piece. I wonder if I can get a couple of pieces of wood from her to make a frame. I'm going to ask!

I am truly blessed to live the Upstate of South Carolina; surrounded by the Blue Ridge Escarpment to my west and north; Lakes Hartwell, Keowee, and Jocassee to my north, west, and south; with the beautiful South Carolina coast just a morning's drive away. Given the proximity to so many gorgeous views, it is only natural that I settled my photographic and artistic endeavors on nature and landscapes. I enjoy my art, my work, and my family (daughter Britt, Australian Retriever Sierra and cat Avery).
