Murph's Grill was a staple of downtown Anderson, South Carolina, in its heyday - the 40s, 50s and 60s. I am so happy that businesses that have rented that hallowed space have let the sign remain. Murph's was still open in the 70s and part of the 80s (my formative years!) but I know it wasn't nearly the same as in its heyday. Oh, to go back in time!
I am truly blessed to live the Upstate of South Carolina; surrounded by the Blue Ridge Escarpment to my west and north; Lakes Hartwell, Keowee, and Jocassee to my north, west, and south; with the beautiful South Carolina coast just a morning's drive away. Given the proximity to so many gorgeous views, it is only natural that I settled my photographic and artistic endeavors on nature and landscapes. I enjoy my art, my work, and my family (daughter Britt, Australian Retriever Sierra and cat Avery). My hope is that my art will touch the heart of someone, maybe bringing back a happy memory of a time, place or loved one. Thank you for stopping by! Lynne
